Calin Pop Of Bedford Hills, Known For His 'Larger Than Life Personality,' Dies At 51

A man noted for his vibrant personality, Calin Pop, of Bedford Hills, died at age 51.

Pop will be remembered as a larger than life personality, from his quirky sense of humor to his stubbornness and his generosity, according to the obituary, which noted the three great loves in his life: Family, fishing and cars.

Pop leaves behind “Mom” a.k.a. Buni; a sister, Sorina Kyriazis along with her husband Jim and daughter Jamie; a sister Corina Zanca and her two sons: Alex and his wife Jordan and Jack and niece Sandra.

There will be a visitation on Saturday, Aug. 17 from noon to 3 p.m. at Curry & Giordano Funeral Home, 313 N James St., Peekskill. Services will be private.
